How will my CRANE Cast Iron Radiators be delivered?

CRANE Cast Iron Radiators are delivered carefully packaged on a pallet. The delivery vehicle will have a tail lift and a pallet truck to get the pallet off the vehicle, but it is your responsibility to arrange movement of the cast iron radiators into your site. Please note that CRANE Cast Iron Radiators are extremely heavy. You will need ample manpower or machinery to move them. Some of our distributors and stockists arrange delivery themselves - speak to your local stockist for more information.

Do CRANE Radiators UK Ltd offer Trade Accounts?

CRANE Radiators UK Ltd proudly manufactures all of our products in the UK. All of our cast iron radiators are tested, assembled and finished at our factory in the United Kingdom. CRANE Radiators UK Ltd do not sell directly from our British factory or our Company Headquarters. We deal through a network of trusted, knowledgeable and reliable market professionals. What is the inspiration for CRANE Cast Iron Radiators?

CRANE Radiators were first sold in the United Kingdom as early as 1906. They quickly grew in popularity because of their clean lines and excellent casting quality. Today, CRANE Radiators have developed a reputation for the highest quality and distinctive castings.

Are CRANE Radiators environmentally friendly?

CRANE Radiators UK Ltd is the last traditional manufacturer of cast iron radiators in the UK. We take a leadership role in understanding and mitigating the environmental impact of our manufacturing. As a result, we offset the carbon used in the production and distribution of all of our products. All CRANE Radiators are therefore carbon neutral.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery from our UK assembly factory varies depending upon the time of year and the exact finish you require. Standard finishes typically take 5 to 15 business days. Our Precious Metals polished cast iron radiators can add an additional time, subject to the time of year. If you are in a hurry on your project, talk to your stockist who may be able to prioritise your order - we always want you to be happy with your CRANE cast iron radiator and can expedite certain orders if required.

Do I need a CRANE wall stay?

We always recommend wall stays with every cast iron radiator for additional safety when installing a cast iron radiator. Cast Iron Radiators are extremely heavy - CRANE wallstays are an essential addition to your purchase.

What colours and finishes can I have on my CRANE Cast Iron Radiators?

CRANE Cast Iron Radiators are available in a variety of paint finishes, precious metals polishes or we can paint your radiator using most branded paints. We have a partnership with Farrow and Ball.

CRANE Radiators are the only cast iron radiators with a lifetime guarantee - what are the terms of this guarantee?

No ifs or buts - our castings are simply the best available, which is why they can be found in the finest houses and public buildings. If your casting develops any fault, we will take it back and replace it for a like-for-like cast iron radiator. Please retain your proof of purchase.

What is the maximum size of a CRANE Cast Iron Radiator?

CRANE Cast Iron Radiators can be shipped in one piece up to 1200mm long. If you require a longer CRANE cast iron radiator it will be shipped in two pieces and will require some on-site assembly. Talk to your stockist about this.
